Previous Year cutoff of CDAC institutes for DAC batch: This blog is created to help students by providing a clear and simple summary of the previous year cutoffs for C-DAC’s PGCP programs, covering the years 2026, 2025, 2024, 2023, 2022, and 2021. These cutoffs are approximate, but they give you a very good idea of the minimum rank usually required to get admission into different CDAC training centres across India.
The Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) is one of India’s top institutions for advanced computing and IT. Every year, thousands of students appear for the C-DAC Common Admission Test (C-CAT), and your admission depends mainly on the rank you score, especially in the A+B sections.
However, many students still feel confused about institute-wise cutoffs. This often leads to wrong preference choices during counselling. Knowing the cutoff trends helps you avoid these mistakes.
For the updated programs, the C-CAT rank is calculated differently based on the course you are applying for.
- If you are applying for programs like PGCP-AC, PGCP-BDA, PGCP-AI, PGCP-ITISS, PGCP-DAI, PGCP-DMC, PGCP-ASSD, PGCP-HPCSA, PGCP-FBD, and PGCP-CSF, your rank is based on Section A + Section B.
- If you want admission into PGCP-ESD, PGCP-VLSI, or PGCP-RAT, your rank is based on Section A + B + C, since these courses require deeper hardware-level knowledge.
Understanding these details makes your admission journey smoother and helps you choose the right centres confidently.
